Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Amsterdam I AM
The Dutch National Ballet and Ballet Orchestra presented the Amsterdam I Am participation project.
The music of Amsterdam I Am was composed by JacobTV (jacobtv.net) and is performed live by The Ballet Orchestra under the musical direction of Matthew Rowe. The artistic direction is in the hands of Ernst Meisner, choreographer and artistic director of the Junior Company.
CHOREOGRAPHER
HONEY EAVIS teaches, coaches and works as a theater maker / choreographer. She specializes in black, social dance forms.
PETER LEUNG, as a choreographer, took his first steps during his training at The Royal Ballet School and danced with Dutch National Ballet, where he also made a number of choreographies.

Amsterdam I Am has a virtual decor that consists almost entirely of projections. These are made by two VJs from Veejays.com, Frouke ten Velden and Lars Berg. They worked closely with the artistic team of the National Ballet for Amsterdam I AM, so that the decor has become a moving part of the choreography.
ARTISTIC DIRECTION
ERNST MEISNER is a choreographer and since 2013 also artistic coordinator of the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet.

Het Nationale Ballet en Het Balletorkest presenteren gezamenlijk het participatieproject Amsterdam I Am.
De muziek van Amsterdam I Am is gecomponeerd door JacobTV (jacobtv.net) en wordt live uitgevoerd door Het Balletorkest onder muzikale leiding van Matthew Rowe. De artistieke leiding is in handen van Ernst Meisner, choreograaf en artistiek leider van de Junior Company.
CHOREOGRAFEN
HONEY EAVIS geeft les, coacht en werkt als theatermaker/choreograaf. Ze is gespecialiseerd in zwarte, sociale dansvormen.
PETER LEUNG zette als choreograaf zijn eerste stappen al tijdens zijn opleiding aan The Royal Ballet School en danste hij bij Het Nationale Ballet, waar hij ook een aantal choreografieën maakte.
VEEJAYS.COM
Amsterdam I Am heeft een virtueel decor dat bijna geheel uit projecties bestaat. Deze zijn gemaakt door twee VJ’s van Veejays.com.Frouke ten Velden en Lars Berg. Ze werkten voor Amsterdam I AM nauw samen met het artistieke team van het Nationale Ballet, zodat het decor een bewegend onderdeel van de choreografie is geworden.
ARTISTIEKE LEIDING
ERNST MEISNER is choreograaf en sinds 2013 ook artistiek coördinator van de Junior Company van Het Nationale Ballet.
